Part 1: Colombia
The journey begins in Colombia, a country that has undergone a remarkable transformation to become one of the world's top travel destinations. With its biodiversity, lush rainforests, historic sites, variety of climates and vibrant cities, this country offers interesting and welcoming experiences with unique regional cuisine that reflects the rich blend of indigenous, African, and Spanish influences.

Part 2: Ecuador
After a short flight the adventure continues in Ecuador. Nestled between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific coastline, Ecuador offers travellers beautiful landscapes, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality. From the heights of Cotopaxi volcano to the Amazon rainforest, Ecuador offers diverse ecosystems and rich history.

Included

Arrival and departure transfers, flight from Bogota to Quito, vehicle hire (SUV), vehicle insurance (standard), hand held two-way radio in vehicle, accommodation (twin/double), meals as per itinerary (all breakfasts, 15 lunches and 10 dinners included), activities as outlined in itinerary, one way flight from Bogota to Quito, support vehicle, Self Drive Adventures escort and local English and Spanish speaking guide.

Excluded

Airfares return to South America, fuel (approx. USD250 per car), vehicle excess, secure parking & tolls (approx. USD85 per car), food other than listed in itinerary (budget approx USD375-400 per person excluding drinks), any pre-post tour accommodation requested, optional activities (budget USD100 per person), local tips (approx. USD350 per person), travel insurance (medical evacuation insurance highly recommended), visas (if required), vaccinations (if required), Galapagos extension, any other items of a personal nature and local tips. Car excess and car rental terms and conditions will be supplied separately.

*The prices above are based on the 2025 prices and are based on 2 people per car on a double/twin share basis. 2026 prices to be confirmed. There will be a minum of 5 vehicles and maximum of 7 vehicles (plus support vehicle). Prices do not include Galapagos extension. Prices are subject to exchange rate fluctuations – please see booking form for all terms and conditions.
