Completing our booking form and understanding the terms and conditions:

On the button to the right you can find a copy of the booking form and terms and conditions.

Payment for your adventure:

Holding Deposit: If your booking is made greater than 365 days from the departure date then AUD500 per person is required to secure your booking. This deposit is fully refundable if you cancel your booking before 365 days prior to the departure date.

Main Deposit: 30% of the total value of your confirmation invoice is due if the departure date is within 364 days. If you have paid the initial deposit, your second deposit will be less the initial deposit paid. This deposit is non-refundable.

Final Payment: The full balance is payable 90 days prior to departure. Your booking may be considered cancelled if the full balance is not received by that time. If this balance is not paid on or before the due date we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled.

Requirements for Flight Arrangements:

Before securing the flights for your adventure, please wait for Self Drive Adventures to confirm that the adventure is a ''definite go'' and that the minimum number of trip participants has been reached.

Travel Insurance:

We highly recommend that your travel insurance covers emergency evacuation and any of the activities you may select, e.g. quad biking.   You could also ask if your insurance will cover the 4x4 hire excess – some cover car excess, but it may not cover a 4x4 driving off-road.  In addition, we strongly recommend you purchase your travel insurance once you have paid the 30% deposit. As per our terms and conditions the 30% deposit is non-refundable.

Passports and Visas:

Please ensure you have 2 blank pages per country to be visited in your passport and your passport is valid for at least 6 months after your return date.

The table below shows if you need to pre-organise visas prior to arrival. This is current information at Nov 2019, but you should always check with a consulate located in your country of residence.
