We take care of all your accommodation bookings, park and community area entry fees, re-fueling and re-supply planning – all the niggling details of self drive adventuring. Mechanical & logistical support
Our maintenance team is always on stand-by and can reach you anywhere in Botswana within 24 hrs. In the unlikely event of a mechanical failure, there are free of charge emergency telephone numbers programmed into the Satellite phone. These will precipitate either telephonic instructions to help you get moving again, or will activate a response team which will locate you and rectify the reason for your delay. Close contact with Med Rescue International ensures medical response or evacuation by fixed wing aircraft or helicopter in case of medical emergencies. Should a re-supply (food, fuel, gas, beverages, etc) be necessary, and you do not wish to return to an urban centre to shop for yourself, we can do a supply run for you. This service however, is not free of charge.
Guided self drive safaris
For first time visitors’ not quite comfortable taking on the bush on their own, or seasoned travelers electing not to drive themselves, we offer a guide service. Guides can either just accompany you, showing you the routes and imparting their excellent knowledge of wildlife, flora, fauna and cultural aspects to this country, or they can take over the driving duties for you. These guides go through stringent training and are really knowledgeable. Camp life does not change, as you still make your own fire, do your own cooking and generally live the life of the safari nomad.
Menu planning & supply shopping
Some travelers are not quite sure what to take along in terms of food and beverages, as re-supply can be somewhat difficult in the bush. With our experience, we can recommend and put together a menu for you, based on the requirements you send us with your personal information. We then also do your supply shopping, based on your itinerary and suggest re-supply locations along your route.
