Having done safaris both professionally and personally throughout Africa for many years, I was delighted with the vehicle, service, equipment, logistical support and friendliness offered to me by David and Taryn at Self Drive Adventures. Our vehicle was kitted to my exact specifications, it was presented to us in mint condition, and I was briefed thoroughly and extensively on its set-up and operational capabilities. I hired the vehicle to take 3 clients on safari through Namibia, and to aid us we were given insurance on the vehicle to travel outside of Namibia, as well as a satellite phone should we need to make emergency calls. Thankfully, the preparedness of SDA, as well as the excellent maintenance of their vehicles meant that I only had to worry about refuelling the vehicle and checking oil, water and tyre pressure levels. I drove over 5,000 km in just over 2 weeks, and handed the vehicle back to SDA a very happy man. Compliments abounded on our safari from both my clients and other travellers along the way. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending to any would-be adventurers, that they are in very professional, safe and courteous hands with SDA.

We had a marvellous time and the Toyota landcruiser we hired from you was an excellent car. We spend 8 nights in total in the CKGR and we camped on 4 different campsite in the Reserve. It was really beautiful and we certainly will come back again. Geert & Marisca
